Brazil's crude steel output up by 3.4% YOY from Jan to Jul

Brazilian Steel Institute's statistics show that in the first seven months, in Brazil, the crude steel output was 20.2 million tons, an increase of 3.4% YOY; in July, the crude steel output was 3.02 million tons, an increase of 6.7% YOY; in the past 12 months, the crude steel output has accumulated to 35 million tons.
In the first seven months, Brazil's crude steel sales volume was 10.5 million tons, an increase of 10.3% YOY. Imports were 1.48 million tons, an increase of 4.3% year-on-year. The export volume was 7.87 million tons, down by 6% year-on-year; the export value was USD4.92 billion, up by 15.7%.
