It's been a long road full of hardships.

Crossing the river by feeling the stones, stumbling is commonplace. The rolling process alone failed more than 700 times. Rolling is to "roll" steel from a thick "rolling skin" like a "rolling dough", and it is necessary to "roll" down 0.1 mm and 0.1 mm. A rolling pin is a precision machine consisting of 20 rolls and thousands of combinations.

80% of the difficulties in the research and development of "hand-torn steel" are concentrated in the ratio of rolling mill rolls, and every time you "roll" thin, you have to explore the optimal way from tens of thousands of permutations and combinations. Because it is too thin, the steel belt will be torn off with a little force during the manual process. Often it is rolled for more than 100 meters, but it is instantly broken into steel dust. A pile of white crystals was scattered in the roller system, and it took eight or nine hours to clean it at a time.

Painstaking people, the sky does not fail. In June 2018, the first batch of wide soft "hand-torn steel" with a thickness of 0.02 mm and a width of 600 mm rolled off the production line, making TISCO the only enterprise in the world that can mass-produce wide ultra-thin stainless steel precision foil.
